And we goddamn did it. Hell yeah.
Shame about IkaBey, but maybe in the future that too can be brought over.

If the sales are good, you're guaranteed their other VNs more or less. Only problem is that the kickstarter barely reaching the base goal is something they'll probably take as an indication that the West lacks interest in their VNs instead of accepting that the PR team was mostly ass and it had horrible stretch goals. G-Yuusuke's comment yesterday saying that he'll start working with ''global market in mind more'' kind of gives me hope though.
Aye. I wish they put back IkaBey but I highly doubt we'd even reach that goal.
Well I mean the pledges have slowed down immensely now that the base goal has been met. We'd have to struggle pretty badly in the last 24 hours to even reach this Vita stretch goal.
It basically just comes down to hoping DI will catch on and sell really well once it's out so they bring over other Masada stuff.
It's definitely still a victory since the game has met its base goal. I definitely know that it's a day 1 purchase from me, and at full asking price, too.

Vita stretch goal met, this KS is now a success no matter how you slice it.

I mean, it was still a shitshow, eat a thousand dicks, Awesome Japan, and it should've done way better, even for a title with minimal exposure as this one in the west, but hey, a win is a win.

Have you seen the ChuSinGura kickstarter? At least this time around they had coherent english (even if there were misunderstandings quite a bit) while the Chusingura KS seemed like it was written by some jap dude with google translate. And despite launching twice, it only got 6% funded. Despite people wanting that VN. This kickstarter was a shitshow, but for AmazingJapan standards it was as good as it gets.
And yeah, even if the confession wasn't fake he could pull back by now. Still funny though.
On a side note, 7 hours left and 205k pledged. Wonder if the Vita fanbase can push us up to 240k now to meet the artbook stretch goal.
Super jazzed for this
Christemo got me interested in the VN back when he was around, but there were really only a few summaries and select scenes in English. I figured the anime getting dubbed would be the only way for me to ever experience DI, so you can imagine how pumped I am for the prospect of the original VN.

Hey. Didn't know when it happened, but now the game's officially greenlit on Steam.
