To me, all of these different options/alternatives for translating these terms are confusing, especially since none of them match with the terminology I'm used to, since I'm used to refering to True Magic as "sorcery", and regular magic/magecraft/thaumaturgy as, well..."magic"...plain and simple...Basically how mirror moon translated the terms in FSN. I also happen to like the way "sorcery" sounds. I'm surprised nobody has mentioned this alternative. I'm also fine with "True Magic" though, so whatever. For regular magic I'm fine with either "magic" or "magecraft". "thaumaturgy" sounds a bit weird to me, but whatever. I do misunderstand and get confused when people refer to sorcery/True Magic as just "magic" without the "True" in front though, as I always think they're refering to regular magic, and not the miracle kind. Same goes for when "sorcery" is used to describe regular magic, as I always think we're then talking about True Magic.
