Doesn't seem so according to Side Material
A curse passed down in Scandinavia.
It causes a person's health to crumble with a mere point of the index finger.
Because it is necessary to take careful aim at the target, it is also known as a Gandr Shot.”
The fact that pointing at people is considered rude has its origins in this curse. Or something like that.
A particularly powerful Gandr is called a “Finn Shot,” and is capable of dealing direct damage to the target.
The sheer brute force of Rin's Gandr already puts it on the level of a Finn Shot. Or more like, a Finn Gatling Gun.
Do all single action spell take up the same/ a similar amount of mana?
No. Cos like Gandr and Finn are the same spell and one uses more magical energy than the other.
However, in a general sense Snap and Gandr are under the same classification, in that they take less than a second.

Huh, well that's a new thing then
Really, long range-sniping would be nice right about now. Especially if it's sneaking in Finn shots along with the Gandr...
Gandr was a simple versatile spell that originated in Scandinavia. Those who mastered it could deteriorate an opponent's health with a mere point of a finger.
As a single-action spell, normally its effects were limited to causing 'illness'. However... there was a forbidden technique buried deep within the art of Gandr.
"Finn shot".
A killing curse that could stop the heart of anyone that received it.
That's in El-melloi II as well.
Twilight just translated that part.

Yo Mcjon, is the gatling version of snap single action as well?
