I definitely want to play ToA. It won't happen with my group, though, because we're very slowly going through CoS and we've got Princes of the Apocalypse for our next campaign after that (DM has already bought the book).
I've heard the book has new spells, feats and other player stuff in there. Is that true? I actually can't find any information about it online.
It has new stuff for the story, which is a couple of backgrounds, a good number of new monsters, and some magic items. No new spells or feats or classes.

Naw, it was definitely in regard to ToA which is why I found it weird with Xanathar's Guide coming out. It's possible that the source I read it from (GITP forum) got it confused with the guide though.
I should write mAc's Guide to Everything and put it on the DMs Guild.
