Finished another session. Actually feel pretty happy about this one, it was fun and I think I improved my NPC roleplaying skills.
still, tfw players murder an npc you were enjoying roleplaying as
Was he a villain or just some random npc?

Battle doesn't need a purpose; the battle is its own purpose. You don't ask why a plague spreads or a field burns. Don't ask why I fight.

Yeah it was a villain, Glasstaff. Their negotiation session was actually fairly long and he almost managed to convince them to end it peacefully, but one of the players (rightfully) assumed that he'd come back. Unfortunately it ended with him being fed to the Nothic.
Everyone always loves playing Glasstaff. It's universal. He became a pretty big character in mine.
Sometimes I think about running a BL LMOP campaign but half the people are already spoiled on it, lol.
It's probably one of the best introductory adventures though.

Considering some of the changes you'd make I think it'll still be memorable
Ehh.. I'm not to good in roleplaying npc. Mostly because I make shit up on the fly. I remember making Redbrands harmless but they would walk around the village playing bagpipes, badly.

I am disappointed. As fuck.
Eh. I had so much more fun roleplaying the Redbrands chattering to each other (my players were basically doing a full stealth run up until things went pear-shaped) that Glasstaff's self-absorbed rant just kinda got away from me.
He got JUSTICE'd by the Paladin in the second round anyway, so no big loss there.
Pffft. The old DC Heroes RPG is much better.
