Honestly I can't choose one.
I'd been playing video games or reading sourcebooks based on 3.5e/d20 system for years so a lot of my RPG sense comes from that. PF is like 3.75 so that's good I guess?
I read a lot of AD&D books too and they were so cool.
But I started actually playing D&D with 4e and I have a lot of sentimental attachments to those games, even though I notice the shortcomings.
5e seemed like a great revamp with a return to role-playing that I really enjoyed playtesting/DMing when it was still D&D Next. Unfortunately 5e came out around the time I didn't have time for tabletop gaming anymore but I'm sure it's good.
