That really depends on what kind of board games you like, how much time you're willing to spend on prep, etc. I really like trivia games like Trivial Pursuit or Jeopardy but nearly everyone I know hates them.

I dunno, SpoonyViking. Milo’s a winner. He’s one of my best sheets. If I tried to make a new character, it’s more than likely that they wouldn’t be as good… Also, I won’t have enough free time starting tomorrow to make a good sheet from scratch.

XD don't beat yourself up on the idea of it being your best sheet or whatnot. Just make sure it's something that interests you and you think will be fun to play (and read, since other people will have to interact with it). So long as it's that, quality will follow because you'll give enough of a damn to make it good.

Except, I kinda still want to be a paladin, and Milo is exactly the kind of paladin I’d want to play in this type of scenario. My best shot is still Milo.

That's fine then XD. you're just saying you really want to play that character, which is a better response imo than "anything else I make isn't going to be as good. "

IMO if your character summary is longer than a page you're doing too much.
Keep it simple.
I haven't played a lot of board games, but one I've really enjoyed is Magic Maze. It's a co-operative board game where everyone plays as a band of adventurers (Barbarian, Elven Archer, Dwarf and Mage) who need to each steal a particular item from a shopping mall and escape before time runs out.
The twist is that players don't control one character each, but every player has different actions they can make any member of the party take - one player will be the only one that can move pieces left, another will move them right, or use portals, or move into a new room, etc. The second twist, and the really fun part, is that you can't talk while the game is in play, unless you maneuver a character onto a square that lets you talk for a limited time. The only way to communicate is to put a marker on the player they want to use their ability: and they need to look at the board and determine themselves which piece they think you want them to move. Then you maneuver a piece onto another talking square, re-evaluate, and resume playing.
Time is measured by a small hourglass and if the sand runs out before all characters escape, it's game over. You can get extra time by landing on extra time squares (which also let you talk briefly) which get used up as you do. It is often incredibly close to make it to the exit before time runs out.
Lots of fun, it's co-operative so everyone can feel good when you win, and it is frustrating in a funny way as you try to figure out what your fellow players want you to do.

One day I'm gonna write a long and angry article listing everything that's wrong with 5e's skill system, and my capstone will be "AND THE CANNY ROGUE IS THE SINGLE MOST LIKELY CLASS TO GET PICKPOCKETED, WHILE THE NAIVE CLERIC WATCHES THE PLACE LIKE A HAWK".

Just put "everything" and you'll save yourself time without sacrificing accuracy
To be fair, Rogues can pick Perception as one of their Expertises.
Plus, Wisdom also refers to a character's intuition, an awareness of things just beyond conscious perception. The Cleric may be naive, even innocent, but they may also feel when something is wrong (and probably credit that to their deity, or said deity's servants).
Additionally, some of that would be a matter of roleplaying. The Cleric may have the highest Perception in the group, but would that character be the one to stand watch?
(Mind, I do think 5E drops the ball at several points. Yay, Champion gets to add half their proficiency bonus!...to skills they probably already have. Yay, the Banneret gains a bonus to social skills!...four levels later than they should.)
The Diablo deadline of the 16th is coming up. Only three days left!
He never sleeps. He never dies.
Battle doesn't need a purpose; the battle is its own purpose. You don't ask why a plague spreads or a field burns. Don't ask why I fight.
Rogue only gets four proficiencies to start with, and it's practically a given that you already lock in Stealth, Sleight of Hand, and Deception. After which you still have to choose between Persuasion, Athletics, Acrobatics, and Perception. Granted, most players wouldn't dream of not taking it (and background choice can help), but it's still ridiculous that the class entirely made up of shady individuals has no feature to protect itself from other shady individuals AND is at a disadvantage when using the same skills everyone else does.

You also get skills from background, no? Assuming you take something suitable to the class, you should have one or two more proficiencies to play with on top of those four.
Or you could not take it for rp purposes.
