Mhmm. Also, it doesn't seem to be as crazy popular as it once was. Too many competitors in the market, so it's share of that niche in the market has declined, whether it's in gameplay or edginess.
Also, seems like my FC is a Deviantart original char, so further art will probably use Soren/Senerio from Fire Emblem.
On an unrelated note, should the approved players get together with those who weren't in order to incorporate the unapproved PCs into our character backgrounds, that way if we drop or our PCs die, the replacements are already a little more established?
And maybe something similar between approved PCs, for that matter.

but if you have the consent of others maybe, idk
Not... quite what I meant. I assumed PC death meant the current player is replaced by someone who didn't make it in yet, not just the PC being replaced. Give the next person in line a try, in other words, except that their character has already been foreshadowed by the first players.

The death mechanic is a bit intentionally vague, in that your PC can either play with perma death or with corruption
I'm, not sure whether you as a player decide this, I just remember that mAc mentioned that you should write a character with both modes in mind
