He did write a bunch of Ravenloft stuff to go with it, though!

Ahh. Well at least someone was able to salvage WotC's stuff.
As for Ponyfinder, yeah that's by Silver LLC. Apparently it's a pretty good My Little Pony knockoff in Pathfinder (and Pathfinderized). And then got ported to 5e.
As for WotC, anyone notice how it never made its own original D&D setting, unlike say TSR? Like in 3.5 it generally used Forgotten Realms or Greyhawk (for its "core") or Eberron?
Though its 3.5 books could be really good. Like Draconomicon.
Considering WotC took over D&D right after the glut of settings in the 90s, it's not surprising that they didn't try and create their own.

Somehow I'm more excited about the fledgling chronicle with people that never played VtM before and that I barely know than the ancillae chronicle with long-time players and close friends of mine.

I'm pretty sure "Hey so I was thinking..." is how DMs get 90% of their grey hairs.

Anyone here looking into Daggerheart? From the wave of new games announced in the middle of the OGL debacle, it's the one that's interested me the most so far.
The use of cards is cool, the make character creation really simple and I really like the vault system with them (though I think each domain should have more cards and each player should get more too).
I'm not into PbtA and such by I don't think the system veers too much to that side even though it's very narrative focused. I also really like the Hope and Fear dynamic, though it could use some adjusting. Love how concise the enemy stat blocks are too.
Pretty good open beta.
