"The world is just another word for the things you value around you, right? That's something I've had since I was born. If you tell me to rule such a world, I already rule it."
Seriously, if there was a way for me to support fan translations with donations, I would gladly do that, I want to read them so much before the anime but curse my own incompetence.
Was talking to fallacies on Discord and she said this list is incorrectly translated, for both ranks & faculties:
Clock Tower ranks & facultiesIs she correct?for example, "faculty of celestial bodies"
is really "faculty of astronomy"
and "open" is really "the opening position"
i.e. something like the first noble rank
it's also not clear guda is actually in that rank
the rank of fes is not really a proper rank
it's kinda funny to see Gordolf besides Lorelei and Adashino.
also lol Faculty of Archeology is full of villains.
What does Case Files First Material talk about?
They're all written "X位", with位 meaning/denoting the rank. So if you wanna be technical they're all "open rank", "color rank", "crown rank", etc.
Fes is a proper rank, it's just special in that it's also given based on achievements and honors and stuff like that, and not only based on magical ability.
And the mission clear screen for the epilogue literally says "Rank Bestowed: Cause" so yeah sure, you could be super picky and say it doesn't super explicitly say Gudao got it, but how anal can we get?

So this basically
Is there anything in that image that is incorrectly translated, from what you guys know? Like incorrectly spelled or whatever?
Are the faculties, and members of faculties, correct?
Lord ガイウスリンク (Gaiuslink?) from Chimera (vol. 9) is listed as unknown
Also, Yvette, Rin and Luvia should be in both Kischur and Norwich
There is also missing シャルダン (Shardan?), an elderly instructor from Norwich that takes over the classes from Waver when he has to travel (also vols. 8/9)
Those are in the top of my mind, at least
Also a bit of trivia, but on volume 9, Waver lists all Lords from Aristocracy and Democracy
Spoiler:

Machines do not lose their worth when a newer model appears.
Their worth (life) ends when humans can no longer bear that purity.
