Wow great job. How did you get this finished so quickly?

I was basically gearing up to see if I could handle translation as a full-time gig, so I took January off to work on it. Of course, took it off from being unemployed, so it wasn't that hard to do.

2~5 hours a day, 5 days a week, took a week off at the beginning because I got sick immediately after starting. All in all, it worked out pretty good.

Wow, I really will be able to read volumes 4 and 5 after my exams at this rate. Which is great cause I'm really excited for 6

No promises on how fast volume 5 will come, but I agree. Rail Zeppelin had me interested, but 6 and 7 were the only books in the series I've really been excited about. Can't wait to see how Sanda lets me down.

Binged V4 (Thanks Twilight for that), and a couple of things stuck out to me.

The idea of Nataraja representing the flow of magical energy in the micro state has germinated the idea of an Indian magus using Bharatanatyam or some other kind of Dance magecraft to emulate the Lord of the Dance and control magical energy flow or even the movement of heavenly bodies in my head.

Also, so many hints about Caules that I can only see after watching the anime. Sanda did well.

In addition, when Gray mused about someone being enslaved by Mystic Eyes that can see the future, was she talking about Ophelia, the bomber person from KnK, or both?

Finally, I can't believe no one has bothered to confirm the existence of the Mystic Eyes of Death Perception in Japan, though I guess Touko might in her own way have done something to protect Shiki, and Shiki herself is no pushover.

After so long I finally managed to find time and read through volume 4! And wow there are a lot of differences from the anime

- Gray's motion/magic sickness and her talk with Karabo were anime original, I guess to compensate for the fact that just about all the explanations of her past were skipped over

- Jean Mario is a far more active player than his short stint in the novels.

-its somehow easier to take Yvette seriously for since they make how she has her own agenda more apparent.

-im guessing someone in the anime staff ships Waver with Gray because there is way more ship tease in the anime compared to the novels

True about the shiptease, mostly because the novel basically qualifies any interaction between Waver and any woman in the narration.
