Bet that's way more fun than making an Altrum. Though, about the colors; where did we first get her noble color mentioned? KnK right? I'm not sure if they used proper red also known as(aka) 赤(Aka) but rather 深紅(Shinku) or was it actually 橙(orange)?

They use 傷んだ赤 for Touko's red (when they mean it as an insult), which is the same term you use for spoiled / rotten tomatoes.
Since the prime colors are meant to be the top within the association it sounds weird to read the author saying red is in another category than blue, but perhaps he meant to say that blue is ranked as the top of the top - just didn't formulate it properly. Or he mistaken something Nasu said. I dunno.

Touko is a composite color of red, not red itself. That's the whole joke.
It's obviously orange because of her name. Same with blue and Aoko.
The thing that gave people pause was how it was delivered in the text.
It being a joke in relation with the Aozaki names is not the point, it was just clumsily formulated.
Touko is awesome and all, but aren't you guys hyping her a little too much? You make it sound like Aoko is the only magician that could beat her, and maybe that's true, I'm no expert, so I won't try to claim otherwise, but...is it? What about Zelretch? Barthomeloi?
