How can I turn Fate / Stay Night (pc version) back to a 4:3 ratio?

I'm using a screen with a resolution of 1920x1080 and when I start the game it's stretched to 16:9 resolution and looks ugly.

Is there a patch or something that lets you disable this for the game?
Or is this happening because of my graphics card?

I use an nVidia 760 GT and I checked the control panel but I couldn't find something to disable stretching.

The game should run at 4:3 ratio... So I think it's a graphics card settings. Try PM-ing Nintendo Maniac 64, he might have an idea.

I'll assume you're playing the original Fate/stay night, since Réalta Nua scales to 1024x768 automatically while using the Full screen mode. (someone correct me if I'm mistaken).

    Maybe this could help you.

Could you give me the monitor manufacturer and model? I believe it could be an setting on the screen. When games run natively in fullscreen 4:3 aspect ratio you should turn off the "stretch image" setting of your monitor.
Get on with it, I might have better things to do.

    ah, dammit....
