    I have a watch.

    watch

This is the watch. It's pretty cool. I took this pic with my phone so it's pretty shitty. My watch wasn't blocky and ugly like most of the others, which I loved. I liked it for a while until I realized that my cell phone had made it completely obsolete. Now it sits in a box on my shelf, out of batteries until one day I'll feel like I need dude jewelry.

Tbh that's a pretty grim watch Bloble. Kinda just looks like one of those hippie leather strip bracelets with a blob of blue and glass in the middle.

But I have legit shit taste so what do I know?

    I'm sure it'd show up when you're not looking for it. That's how it is here... unless its in a "safe place", then good luck. >.>;

Not sure who you're referring to but I can't help being girly. D: I was girly before I became an otaku. But... otakuness > fashion.

Indeed. Most of the others look like overdone bling to me.

Jusst so everyone knows, if you wear your watch with the face on the outside of your wrist you are a heathen who deserves to have the face scratched and chipped and the watch ruined.

On the other hand, do you enjoy not being able to put your hands down normally on a surface ever. Choices choices.

Or just get a watch case, duh.

    Ugly as fuck, dude.

Also, I tend to rest my hands on surfaces on the side of the wrist, with the outside edge of my hand against the surface. I don't do palm down hand resting.

I'm no medic, Buster, but my dad taught me to wear it that way, and he learned from my grandfather, who wore it that way during the war because it was less likely to be damaged and less likely to cause the sun to glare off if and reveal his position. Oh and so he could see the time while he was rifle up.

    Here's one.

He never sleeps. He never dies.

Battle doesn't need a purpose; the battle is its own purpose. You don't ask why a plague spreads or a field burns. Don't ask why I fight.

I look way too young to wear a watch so I'll just look like a 15 year old cruising for girls with his confirmation gift.
And I don't have stacks of cash. So I don't have one. Maybe I'll get one if my five o clock shadow ever becomes less thin and money magically rains from the sky.

That what pocket watches are for... you could play the hipster card. (or the novelty one like sundials.)
However, I just use mine to keep track of time while working. 'Cause its not considered polite to glance at your cellphone for time. I don't wear them outside of work.

But I agree on the financial front; that's why I haven't bought a new one yet. If the choice is between a game or a watch; the answer is obvious.

One of the hardest (?) things for me adjusting from being an EMT to surgical tech is not being able to wear my watch while in scrubs. I'm constantly glancing at my bare wrist.

But it's not worth getting C. diff and shit on my watch.
