do you actually get value out of having lvl 10 guts? the extra HP doesn't seem enough to matter and I'm not sure how likely you are to get to use it a second time with its 7turn CD

You can't even use it (successfully) until after his bond CE's 3 guts are used up, so probably not.

I got value out of it once during a last man stand, therefore it was worth maxing.

2500 is really not much for a Berserker, but there're rare times where he doesn't get killed until the CD cools off (you activate it when he still has a bunch of HP).

Not applicable to bond 10 Herk sadly.

but why is it so ass to find a team that can clear the second wave and then deal with a 240k hp jeanne alter

Well, if you think about it, there's no real difference in using BB as your main damage dealer on the boss. Jeanne Alter's double HP relative to Jeanne is countered by BB's triangle advantage versus Avengers, and Moon Cancer is neutral to Rulers.

Are Spriggans tagged as male? I'm wondering if I can maybe find a way to automate the Saber area and Orion being able to take out the Spriggan would help a lot. I'm sick of farming the Rider area but the Berserker node has a pretty lame drop rate.

Oh, huh, Archer has a comparable drop rate to Rider. That might also be worth looking at but I think I concluded it wouldn't be practical.

Damn. No way she can pull it off without that power bonus. Although thinking about it I think the required cost would be prohibitively high.

I know, but I still want to try making one, at least to experiment with new things, which sometimes ends up with interesting results. And the incoming Setsubun event seems like the best opportunity to try them if we're going to have a cooldown period for our Servants.

And I don't want to use Merlin at all, it makes the game too easy, which also means it makes it boring. I'm fine using him for farming events though, I'm not so stupid as to make the farming harder than it needs to be.

there is no quick support-type unit which can offer a reasonable sustain so your venture is sort of doomed from the start

best you can make is individual lineups for each node and rely on class advantage for survival and damage output
and yeah i hope you have enough 2030s

Huh. Kuro is surprisingly close to being able to pull it off with just Self/Tamamo/Merlin/Ishtar buffs. Her average NP damage is slightly more than the Spriggan's HP. She could definitely do it if I dropped the event bonus CE but I'd really rather not do that. If I tossed the plugsuit buff on her it'd be guaranteed as well but I get the feeling Ishtar is going to need that.

Yeah Ishtar can't do it with the event CE equipped. Tch. But I can work around that!

But not well enough. I don't think I have a one turn strategy possible. Shit, I could do it if I had Gilgamesh but despite my stupid overspending he still wouldn't show up.
