Since rxrx mentioned Helena, there's three different ways to approach it: Helena is present for Wave 2 and uses third skill, Helena is present for Wave 2 and doesn't use third skill, and Helena gets swapped in for Wave 3. There are then two sub-cases for each case depending on if you use Sanzang or Okeanus Caster for Wave 3.
For Case 1, there is a chance of failure for both sub-cases since Liz could resist a debuff. For the Sanzang sub-case, the chance is pretty small, as only a single Defense Down debuff needs to be applied. For the Okeanus Caster sub-case, every Defense Down debuff needs to be applied.
I don't feel like formatting it properly for Beast's lair, so have a giant spoiler of all the math.
Case 1 Assassin 40 AP
Working on the Case 2 part now. Shouldn't take as long since it's pretty much identical to the Nero (Caster)/Da Vinci setup until Wave 3.

Oh, you're talking about the Lancer daily. NP level might be an issue since enemies aren't dragons, but I can check that later.
Certainly. If Arjuna, Orion, and fucker Moriarty never existed I wouldn't be here making such a bold claim.
Something
Actually, no. Too much time spent thinking of three turn setups that people won't give much a rat's ass about since you have to utterly kill your drop bonus to accomplish. I don't mind giving my opinion on certain setups, but I'm just going to leave it at Assassin 40 AP is too much a pain in the ass to think of good setups for.
Thanks for what you did count btw.
So after the announcement of the Setsubun event, I decided to give it a try to create a Quick based team, even if I know it's not the best team one would use. So far, my candidates for the front are:
- Meltrylis, with LB Imaginary Around.
- Parvati.
- Osakabehime.
As you can probably guess, Meltrylis is the main damage dealer for this team. The whole point of this team is simple, get her to spam her NP as much as possible, while having a good number of stars at all times to guarantee that her cards crit to increase her NP gain and make her do more damage that she's capable of. I am trying to even make it so she can basically ignore class difference when attacking as much as possible, if not for damage because she constantly rapid-fires NPs and crits.
So why have I decided to choose both Parvati and Osakabehime?
- Both have good star gen and have three Quick cards including their NP. I was specially looking for Quick NPs as they let me have a Quick card on demand.
- Both have good NP gain, specially Parvati for what I tested, so they can use their NPs often which is also needed in their case.
- Both can give Meltrylis NP with their skills (Parvati with her NP to all allies too), so I always have a higher chance to get Melt to use her NP if she can reach it herself.
- Both can heal, so they can help Melt last longer.
- Both can survive an NP if I use their defense up skills alongside Melt's NP down skill (which I have maxed, so that's 50% damage down). Either damage turns 0, or they barely do damage.
- Osakabehime can provide further damage increase with her defense down skill and her Quick up, while Parvati can do quite a good amount of damage if I use Ashes of Kama, so I can still do some damage at some points to make things die faster (and I have Parvati at NP3 for some bloody reason).
So after that wall of text, I need some advice for this team, mainly:
- Which are the best Servants to put in the backrow? My plan is at least another Quick support and an emergency damage dealer in case Melt dies to end the fight as soon as possible, though if you have better suggestions for roles I'm up for it. I finally have level 140 so that's the total cost I can afford right now.
- Recommended CEs for everybody, including Melt. Imaginary Around is IMO the best CE for Melt, but if you have a better suggestion then I'm all in too.
And as a final note, please DW give Melt an NP interlude so her Quick up scales nicely, 10% at no overcharge is unacceptable frankly, it kills her potential. Same for Osakabehime while I'm at it.
Jack Wu Tristan if you have any of them for backrow
Altera the Sun / Tristan / Atalante / Billy to deal with Sabers
I am still testing CEs so I can't tell you what the best option is there. I typically just pick the lazy option of Prisma/Maiden who knew naught of love/2030s on the non main DD.
Tristan seems like a good choice, I used him a lot in the previous event and I was left very satisfied on how he performed. I will have to grab the Atlas suit though if I'm interested in using his NP the moment he joins the fight.
For the other choice, I do have Wu and Jack (in fact, I have all Servants you posted), though Jack is a bit of a worry because three 5* Servants eat a lot of the team cost. Thing is, while I have Wu, I still don't know how to properly use her unfortunately. How exactly does she work?
She's there as a backup option since wasn't sure if you had jack or not
cost is an issue but I haven't looked into it since event started
Osakabe is not a support

Yeah, I was just thinking that Melt's overcharge was really pathetic and needs fixing. Only 10% and applied after damage is just mean. It might as well not be there at all.
she isnt?
what is she then

Wu is a decent support quick support with her last skill. I use her a lot more than I thought I would, mostly due to the lack of quick support Casters.
Or just go "get outta the house, hikkikomori" route, and have her solo turtle stuff.
She’s a solo artist tbh
Playing her in a team feels really awkward
Hey, I thought I was the only one to use 'solo artist' term!
