In the Bible, Solomon was not born with his prodigious wisdom. After he became king, he prayed to God, who came to him and told him to ask for anything he wanted. Solomon just asked for the wisdom to properly govern the kingdom of Israel, and God was so impressed with his altruism that He said not only would Solomon be granted that wisdom, but also wealth and honor like no king had had before or would have after.

Presumably his NP is the natural extension of that altruism. That he gives up all those gifts selflessly. This therefore retroactively depowers the demons hijacking his corpse.
