I wonder, is it at all possible that Gaea, who canonically hates humanity and wants to destroy them in the Nasuverse, could be the final Beast that the heroes have to face? If not the actual planet itself, then at least a limited personification (to make it possible for the heroes to defeat her). It'd fit the theme of human might overcoming all adversity and provide the ultimate climax to top even the Goatia battle. I dunno'. It just seems like an interesting idea.
a limited personification would be pretty underwhelming considering Goetia already went beyond what the planet would be capable of.

That said, you're basically describing the conflict with Tiamat in Babylonia and they're not going to retread that thematic ground.
Well yeah, his plan was to gather enough heat energy to torch the entire planet and all of biological history. That said, it wasn't exactly a natural ability of his and he had to gather energy from humans all across history in order to actually reach anywhere near that level, so I don't think that's the best measurement of his 'power-level' per-se.
I still think Gaea herself if she actually showed up in some kind of tangible form in the Nasuverse would be ridiculously hax.

Yeah, I thought of that. A bit too similar thematically with what came before. At best it'd just end up 'Tiamet 2.0', which would still be underwhelming.
However, I do like the idea of Gaea showing up and using her own body as catalyst to summon all her Giant children to oppose the heroes, for one ultimate battle-royale.
No, the planet is pissed that humans have actually killed it off and summons the Types for revenge.

She's okay with humanity outlasting her and even humanity killing her but humanity living on her corpse was a bit too Norman Bates.
