Nah, Heroic Spirit Orlok pls.
I just remembered something while reading the plot for New Year 2017 (thanks for the ones who translated these).
Pruning Phenomenon...
Since she's hopping to other worlds, maybe Musashi has encountered Ozy, Nitocris and Sherlock Holmes before the Chaldea Group even entered the singularities.
And only Sherlock can deduce Musashi's circumstances as to why she is able to hop in worlds.
Not dealing with it...
Why even try?
This is golden...
Ok i can get Holmes, but why Ozzy and Nitocris?
"Only in my company, will you not be a monster"
anywhere than here
Yea, the PSVita version. It has Extra, Prototype and Prisma Illya cast. Nasu wrote the Extra and Prototype scenario afaik, so I'm not surprised that he sprinkled this stuff in.
I actually prefer the plot-line of F/GO over GBF because it allows for more... morally diverse characters. For example, in GBF, Vira is about as yandere as the game's going to get. While in F/GO, we have Kiyohime. Kiyohime. Also, Erik the Phantom as a male yandere. Basically, it's the same logic as when I feel a surge of pride when I complete an Elder Scrolls main quest whilst in the Dark Brotherhood uniform.
I always preferred the thieves guild duds myself
I liked whatever helped me not get killed
GBF requires you to roll the characters and play events to learn more about characters. Vira's problem was her lack of interaction with the world since Katherina was an ass and lost on purpose, making the former the ruler of Avalon and thus have the emotional development of a high school kid. Her issues are resolved as you roll her other ver. characters where she starts to make friends (swimsuit story) and eventually learn more about her feelings with Katherina. SSR is her being high after the merging with Chevalier so that dosen't count.
Besides, FGO's MC is always trying to do as much good as possible, so you are thinking over your head expecting morally diverse characters. Shuten and Iba who treats humans as playthings is a no in MC's book and thus he will go on a hunt for the onis if they went out of line alongside Kintoki and Raikou, and Amakusa's attemps at saving mankind is always stopped by him.
But the thing is that the existence of humanity as a whole (as opposed to individual humans) is protected by not only champions of humanity but also those who require humans as a source of sustenance (food or worshipers). There are also mischief makers who consider humans fun targets for pranks. That's why Goetia was an enemy that most heroic spirits could align against. Of course, this "alliance" probably works the same way as the alliance against Dong Zhuo, as you know that those people who never be allies in any other circumstance, but yes, limited F/GO dialogue choices.
Personally, I enjoy stories that do not involve some lame redemption story (Final Fantasy 4) or even fallen heroes (Mithos from Tales of Symphonia). I prefer stories where the unscrupulous hero is an assassin for profit at the beginning of the story, an assassin for profit at the end of the story, but just happens to save the world in the middle of the story by killing the final boss (which technically counts as an assassination).
Well, the Thieves Guild in Oblivion was basically Robin Hood's Merry Men (they also didn't have the uniforms that they have in Skyrim), but yes, Skyrim's Thieves Guild is basically the Mafia with influence from a demon god.
As for Amakusa (Fate's version, of course), his idea of salvation would probably be at odds with Gilgamesh because Gilgamesh likes longevity but with the pleasures of the flesh (pleasures that would be denied in perfect spirit bodies). That's why Gilgamesh rejected (as Gilgamesh recounts) Utnapishtim's initial suggestion for immortality. Speaking of Babylon, who was the Greybeard whom we met there?

The basics of Gudao's dialogue which shows their personality is pretty simple:
1. You don't do stuff which is against good morals (MC is human and a good guy, so fxxx those who kill for fun and kicks)
2. You don't insult Mashu (MC goes from having a friendly conversation to instant rage, the two lizards know.)
Understanding doesn't mean acceptance, so they are pretty firm on moral standings there, which angers a lot of people who do self-insert.
