i know Sakurai didnt write the chapter, but if you asked me to pick one of the authors as the lovecraft buff, it would be Sakurai...
like most of the What a Beautiful series has a reference to a place from some lovecraft story in the title, Sekien no Inganok, Shikkoku no Sharnoth, Hikari no Valusia, Shiei no Sona-Nyl, Ourai no N'gah-kthun
theres also mentions of Kadath in like all of them
heck one of the characters in Sharnoth is hinted to be
