Honestly, I can understand why someone might be confused, that monologue is just... construed weirdly, and I'm not sure it's a translation thing either. The intended takeaway is that Agravain was supposedly devastated to find out that the one person whose opinion he gave two shits about was actually a woman, and he blames Lancelot for either letting him know (if he didn't) or making it an issue he could no longer ignore (if he did). But the way it's worded it sounds like he originally thought she was a woman and was relieved when it wasn't then it turned out it was, and then instead of mentioning his conflict upon figuring that out it focuses on... Artoria's pain for being a woman, I guess? Anyway, it comes off weird.

Honestly it's "the king's pain" that's the problem, I don't think anyone would interpret the pain as "being a woman" or "pretending to be a man" without prior knowledge that he does know she's a woman, with just Camelot as context the phrase clearly seems to be referring to Lancelot and Guinevere's affair. If he has said "the truth about the King" then everything would have been much clearer.
Needlessly obtuse and/or roundabout dialogue is nothing new to Nasu or Fate in general, I'm used to it. The only issue is that the scene would be even more powerful if it had been clear that he is still loyal to Artoria despite knowing the truth and his hatred for women, but it's already great as it is.
Yeah agree tho if that is the case then Agravain is acting a lot on his bias on Lancelot then I first thought.
