Machines do not lose their worth when a newer model appears.
Their worth (life) ends when humans can no longer bear that purity.

3 questions:
1- do we have any idea how big the lostbelt is? (as in, the collection of all derelict timelines)
2 - do you think that these timelines have their own timeline variations, meaning, do you think that there are multiple mammoth Ivans out there or just one?
3- when you jump to a different universe while inside the mooncell, are you within the mooncell you were in originally but in a simulation being run in paralel or are you within a physically alternate mooncell in some other timeline?
what are you asking in how big the Lostbelts? Are you asking about how big geographically or some else?
As for variations, sure that's possible. Its just those don't matter since only one was chosen to be the Lostbelt.
"Only in my company, will you not be a monster"
anywhere than here
Infinite, or so so big there wouldn't be much difference
"Only in my company, will you not be a monster"
anywhere than here
so we technically have several different multiverses inside nasuverse now?
I don't think Lostbelts are infinite, if they're worlds that should have been pruned but weren't then I'd wager there's only the seven we know. There's infinite what-if branches that end up getting pruned, but that's not the same as lostbelts.
No. He said he found. Lostbelt is "strange band". They might be referring to the same thing or not, who knows, but Lostbelt never came up until part 2.Missing BeltLost history
And there's no expression for singular and plural in Japanese normally (there is a few plural expressions but it's just for certain nouns, and a suffix that is rarely used normally), so we usually must guess if what is mentioned being plural or singular when reading JP.
How would there be mutiple modern variations on a timeline that got deleted?
All mamoth Ivan timelines got deleted(pruned) at the same-ish time around 1570 for failing, except the one Kadoc picked which got exempt from pruning rules. Right?
Or are you asking if, when mamoth ivan was originally deleted in 1570 if there were another 500 mamoth ivan timelines deleted at the same-ish time?
Well a Lostbelts is a deleted timeline so presumably none of them or their slightly altered off-shoots managed to fuffil their required cenntenial plan.
At least until one of the lostbelts manages to be such a intersting AU that some writer wants to write a story in it and Nasu has to specify that "the Ivan in the lostbelt had eggs for breakfast one day so his timeline got pruned while this ivan had pancakes therefore didnt get pruned and made it to modern day cuz butterfly effect."
And this Ivan, who put eggs on his pancakes, is a true monster and enemy of humanity
Rasputin, Douman and Koyan are confirmed as Alien God's Alter Ego servants.
We sure have a lot of Alter Egos now.
