    I like that he's true to himself, he doesn't have to conform to your guys' desires of what you wish to see him become. Also, I won't be surprised if people take his fourth battle start line and start running with "Astolfo says trans rights" interpretations.

    Astolfo doesn't self-identify as a female, so I find using him as a trans icon a questionable choice.

    Yeah, the only actual trans characters in FGO are d'Eon (IRL historic transwoman), da Vinci (IRL gay man, but it's probably based on the theories about Mona Lisa being a self portrait), Hokusai (more just a mind control/fusion thing, really), and... Kama, I guess (male diety in female vessel)? Maybe there's some more I'm forgetting, but there aren't a lot.

    Astolfo's also a pretty bad choice for a trans icon since, y'know, he's kind of representative of the whole transphobic "trap" stereotype.
