Haven’t seen it talked about much, but one of the lesser mentioned theories about the identity of the mysterious Romani figure is that it’s actually Flauros. Which matching descriptions and his appearances, especially during the events of the Time Temple, make much more sense than rehashing Goetia honestly.

I don't see what difference it would make. Goetia was nothing more than a hivemind for the 72 demons, so they were only allowed to truly become individuals in EoR, after the Goetia connection crumbled. We last saw them in a point where Flauros=Goetia, so their off-screen development wouldn't change whether Romani 2 is the empty hive or an individual.
