of course because he is not anymore influenced by ME and his white armour probably because of his myth
The great hero Lancelot wore any armour and shield he was given, due to the fact that he like to travel incognito, so no one would recognise him. Especially when he was on an adventure or participating in the tournament. In the Prose Lancelot (Vulgate Cycle, c. 1227) Lancelot started out being knighted as a White Knight, where the Lady of the Lake provided his armour and weapon, but he changed his armour many times, so he was also the Red Knight, Green Knight and then Black Knight. This would often cause trouble for him.
Given the trend of light/sane characters being younger, we could pretend he only started growing his hair out because Guinevere liked the hippy guy look, therefore his longer hair symbolizes his fall from grace and eventual madness.
Maybe he grows out hair as he ascends, like Boudica.
We've had to endure much, you and I, but within the week there will be old men running the world
OLD MEN ARE THE FUTURE
I'm ashamed to say that I just end up skipping the cutscene every time that flavor text decision point comes, in order to not pick something stupid. Basic knowledge of kanji from knowing some hanzi and knowledge of basic Japanese terms, such as koko wa, can only get one so far.
Why would it matter if you select something stupid? It affects nothing and you get to see amusing faces, seems pretty win win to me.
The mechanics of the "reroll exploit" is just starting a new game over again, right? Or can rolls other than the first be done over somehow without losing previous data? Also, I'll have you know that my IRL luck sucks, so this is actually pretty good for me. Honestly, I was expecting to get Darius or Boudicca on my first roll. Then I would have definitely rerolled.

It's just starting over. The point is to do it at the beginning of the game before you've actually done anything yet so there's nothing to lose.
RIP Grand Order
It's his earlier pure knight I-haven't-tapped-the-kings-wife-and-question-my-king version I guess.
Would have liked to see Herc as other classes as well, since Cu has been getting his multiple Seibah version treatment (though I guess Sane Herc's look will weird out everyone).
