I’d say it’s in Britain, but considering the last time Camelot was used for a chapter it was in Jerusalem...
popular theory in JP is lostbelt 5 is located in Mars because Mt.Olympus.
shit BL says
Once and always and nevermore.
Re: the weird Scathach=Skadi thing, AFAICT you can blame the entirety of that on Barbara G. Walker's The Woman's Encyclopedia of Myths and Secrets.
It has Scathach=Skadi, Scathach=Hel (and thus Scathach=underworld god), Scathach=Götterdammerung=death-of-gods, and a whole bunch of other weird-ass 80s reinterpretations of myth and amateur comparative mythology.
It's pretty clearly one of the major sources of F/GO's Scathach, albeit maybe indirectly.
No I'm pretty sure the inspiration of Scathach=Skadi was SMT

"The Old Norse name Skaði, along with Sca(n)dinavia and Skáney, may be related to Gothic skadus, Old English sceadu, Old Saxon scado, and Old High German scato (meaning 'shadow'). Scholar John McKinnell comments that this etymology suggests Skaði may have once been a personification of the geographical region of Scandinavia or associated with the underworld.
Georges Dumézil disagrees with the notion of Scadin-avia as etymologically 'the island of the goddess Skaði.' Dumézil comments that the first element Scadin must have had—or once had—a connection to "darkness" "or something else we cannot be sure of". Dumézil says that, rather, the name Skaði derives from the name of the geographical region, which was at the time no longer completely understood. In connection, Dumézil points to a parallel in Ériu, a goddess personifying Ireland that appears in some Irish texts, whose name he says comes from Ireland rather than the other way around."
But yeah it's actually from SMT
Reading back, it is lightly touched in game that mixing Scatha into Skadi is to evade Surt.
Did Gungnir (Fake) has other abilities besides hitting really hard?
Yea Surtr can't identify Skadi, he even thought Ophelia was Skadi when they first linked through her mystic eye while she thought he is the 6th imaginary element (demons) at first. But he was like no, I AM FIRE, I AM DEATH, Smaug style. (and he's half dragon too).

.
That's more about Ragnarok's ability instead the spear itself isn't it?
Did the story indicates they have enemy seeking effect or something similar?
It will be fun if the chipper Sion joins the Chaldea crew.
What do Ophelia's mystic eyes actually do?
Apparently reject or reverse stuff
I don't know the details.

I think it is like Musashi's, see all possibilities and narrow it down to what she wants.
Reverse all strengths and weaknesses.
I'll need to read the part about the eye again later, but from my memory it's like what rxrx said. That explains how she can see lostbelt Surtr during the critical moments and linked to him.
