Spoiler:
Gotta wonder who voted for Chris...
Japan's standards for what is considered "appropriate for children" is quite different from many other countries. Remember that Hokuto no Ken was originally aimed at pre-teens despite its graphic content.
Their children's content also seems to contain much heavier themes as well. For example: despite Naruto's relative immaturity, one if its villain's primary goals was essentially a fantasy equivalent of nuclear proliferation and deterrence. We don't get many allegories like that in non-Japanese media for kids.
My point is that murder, theft, kidnapping, and shooting at kids isn't really anything unusual for anime and manga aimed at younger audiences.
Nasuverse in a Nutshell
Read the ending, turns out I completely overlooked the whole "you look like someone I shagged 20 years ago", so while I got the culprit right, I guess my assumed motive wasn't exactly right. Cute ending tho (you know, except the obvious not cute thing), and I kinda hope that Holmes saying he wants to take you on a proper detective adventure some time comes true some day.

BEHOLD! THE SIG OF GOLDEN TRUTH! Pillaged from McJon, Tsukikan et al.
The last two chapters are translated.
I really liked this event for its story.
Murder at the Kogetsukan: Section 9
Murder at the Kogetsukan: Section 10
So the explanation for everything happening was...the guy who's body Guda jumped in really wanted help and the moon decided to oblige? That was nice of Artemis.
Looks like May is the month for messing with the moon. First CCC, now this. Curious.
Added in the last subbed version in my last post.
As I thought, Medusa really doesn't quite have the personality for the role.
The most asspull thing about this little story is probably Holme's final deduction. Really man?

The moon is the culprit.
Howwhatwhy?

tbh we barely made any difference, hariett would still be alive and cain would still act as a retarded kid
which could doom both families
realtalk, I still have one question that's probably not important but what did Holmes and Morris talk about
was it even necessary
Chaldea Heroes
Personal skill
Not necessarily?
I conjectured earlier that there could've actually been no one there. As long as he knew Morris wasn't in a place to cause problems - he could've staged it just by asking for tea.
But then if he could convince him to sit quietly and have a chat in his room to maintain Guda's observations then that's fine too.
edit: Also the difference we made was to enact the will of the moon and allow love to blossom between two young ones~
edit2: Fuuuu- Artemis did it.

lol she sure seems fazedJuliet:
What’s the matter, Guda? Things have turned really strange due to Mama’s death and the matter of Cain, though.
This event was fun. I'd like to see the writer do more in-depth event/chapter like this.
Yeah that was weird. Holmes admitted he was giving an abridged explanation of the magic involved. It was mostly just an excuse for the event to happen.

Yeah, I think Holmes was just walking through the steps to keep everything consistent with Guda's observations.
