Wow another fallacies think piece much thanks 🙏 🙏 🙏
Gross.
Let's talk about something more important like...
Well, now that we've gone through four Lostbelts how do you guys feel about the Crypters that were of the Lostbelts we've gone through?
Both in terms as characters and in terms as built up big superstar masters. The literal A-team.
Thusfar other than Yu I've found them pretty fun as characters. I like that some of them enjoy each others company and worry about each other.
Leaving Kadoc aside I've been a bit disappointed so far as built up super-mages or strange ability antagonists go. Ophelia's eye is pretty crazy but I feel that she's a one trick pony with all the emphasis on it. Hinako/Yu is of course a big ancient historical figure who is actually a vampiric Elemental and that's cool in a sense but not what I was looking for at all. In a sense she, like what she is in gameplay, feels like a servant and standard bossfight rather than a enemy master and/or magic user. Pepe so far has been a Jojo character but there's a bit of mystery to what he still does while his capabilities are also shown to be rather ridiculous. That said I've been the most satisfied with him as an A-team Master/Crypter in that sense.
Pepe so far has been the best character out of all of them by a long shot. I like Kadoc, but found both Ophelia and Hinako kinda boring. Can't say exactly why, but they did feel somewhat one-dimensional, at the very least.
Power-wise, I wasn't even really expecting much. I mean sure, they were chosen to do the singularities, but in hindsight, even Gudao could do that, so we know that big flashy powers aren't exactly a requirement. Daybit and Wodime are the only ones I have actual expectations for power-wise, along with Beryl being a literal werewolf, so there's that.
what pepe can do?
Spoiler:
Wandering on internet
most important requirement is leyshift compatibility.
and our MC had way too much compatibility for some reason.
It's not because i want more norse servants on anything like that, just the fact that since Berserkr and Haššāšīn are concepts taken from mythology, these two iirc are the only classes you can apply this concept since the other classes are just names of weapons or verbs that has no particular origin from particular myths
But in this case since we got the Grand Assassin being the founder of the Hassans it'd be logic that the same concept would apply to Norse so a berserkr which powers are maybe related to Odin to be the Grand Berserker, it's dumb to do a thing in one way because of a certain logic and then with another thing wich you can applying the same reasoning not doing that, no?
But it's nasu, i'm expecting everything from him, i should do the patrick and manray meme about this
Man, I like the music that they used during God Arjuna's flashback dream. It just feels very Fate to me.
Something
Lmao, so Koya got beaten up by Ash to the point that she's deeply hurt and unable to move anymore.
This is hilarious.
Something
Same here. But I think it's mainly due to his personality and character quirks that tend to make things lively. For the most part both Ophelia and Hinako are okay but their personality is too reserved I guess? That doesn't make for super lively and interesting interactions most of the time.
Ophelia is.........good
Hinako and Kadoc just suck though
Marisbilly was already dead by the time Chaldea picked up Guda, no? So he couldn't get picked up for the A-Team anyway
Credit for this summary goes to fallacies. Link to the whole post here
A practitioner of the Shuugendou (修験道) ascetic tradition of Japan, though in a monologue, he gives that he killed off his own family and discarded his past. Lord Animusphere hired him on the reasoning that the Master candidates of Chaldea were predominantly magi focused in research endeavors, and lacked practical experience in thaumaturgical combat; though Holmes hypothesizes that, on account of Shuugendou's focus on wilderness survival, he may have been brought in to lead missions that required deployment to environments without the fixtures of civilization.
In Buddhism, the Chalabhiññā (六神通, rokujintsuu, "six divine comprehensions") -- or, individually, the Abhijñā (神通, jintsuu, "divine comprehension") -- are a set of 6 capabilities that approximate the 'Divine Authorities' (not 'Divine' in the sense of a God, but in the sense of a Buddhist Deva or Bodhisattva) acquired by those with attainment upon the path to Enlightenment.
Despite being a human, Pepe-san bears the 3 Abhijñā of:
神足通 (iddhi-vidha-ñāṇa, "the Comprehension of the Divine Foot"), which provides sufficient motility to avoid the attacks of the Holy Beasts of Arjuna.
他心通 (ceto-pariya-ñāṇa, "the Comprehension of the Hearts of Others"), which permits the instantaneous reading of intent, even from inhuman existences.
漏尽通 (āsavakkhaya-ñāṇa, "the Comprehension of the Extinction of Poisons"), which Pepe-san describes as an intimate comprehension of his own state of being (though, in Buddhist literature, it's described as "a complete freedom from preoccupations," attained upon arriving at Buddhahood).
The two former 'comprehensions' are utilized by Pepe-san in a personal martial art described by Mashu as 'utterly without waste, reminiscent of the combat styles of Assassin Emiya and Emiya Alter.' Surprisingly, he can consequently defeat monsters that give Servants difficulty. I would hypothesize that Pepe-san may be one of those child prodigies described by Saber in her discussion of Breathing & Walking.
