    From my understanding, Ishtar becoming a Damegami is a result from her fusion with Rin. SF's Ishtar might be the vanilla one, vain, greedy, fickle and a bitch. Also, like many servants that have pointed out, Ishtarin had good intentions, getting back the bull to power both Chaldea and herself, solving the singularity and letting everyone have fun. Just that her Rin aspects cause things to mess up that is.

    Also the whole of part 2 is more like a parody of Yugi-oh 5D's having summoning a divine construct via racing in a circuit and the said construct being defeated by Quez.

    Either you have the troublesome Ishtar from the myths or you get the mellow Ishtarin. Ishtarin herself mentioned that she would kill the MC for his actions when they first met if she is not in current form, and Gil mentioned that her merging with Rin which resulted in a more mellow personality is the only reason why he can stand her.

    Yeah, Rin's fuckup gland and basic human decency keep Ishtar from being terrible in many senses. Now, the only time Ishtarin would do "Let me in or I go Dawn of the Dead" shtick from Ishtar's Descent into the Underworld would be if they needed to get Eresh her own event.
