I don't think the red moon under which the Night of Wallachia gained his powers is equated with the coming of the Crimson Moon. He clearly says the next coming of the red moon marks the end of the cycle and the contract that he made with Altrouge, to which end Arcueid recreated it with her Marble Phantasm. Besides, "overcount 1999" and the "prophecy of the 2000th year" give a solid indication as to when the planet died.

Maybe so, but I thought the point of "overcount 1999" was that it referred to humanity "overstaying its welcome". That is, it refers to when the Earth died, and every year after that is an "over count" for humanity, and it that case it's not really as clear cut when notes take place, I'd say. Although I seem to have forgotten where that "prophecy" part is from because that does make it pretty clear I'll admit.
I agree on the meaning of "overcount", but the dictionary entry for Type-Venus says it was shot down "in the 83rd year of the [new] calendar". Assuming the planet died at the turn of the millennium, that in conjuction with Godo's statement about how it was 7 years before the present that the Western Continent was destroyed allows us to postulate on the timeline of the Land of Steel.

Right, and Godo says it was 5 years ago that he saw Type Venus in the sky, so the story itself probably takes place in the 88th year of the new calendar then, whether that means 2088 or whatever.
