Something I thought about:

Let's say we fail to destroy one of the Lostbelts, and they succeed in the whole "taking over earth as the dominant texture" thing. What's stopping Alaya from just deleting this timeline in the next check-up, just like it's done before? I guess if we truly reverted back to the AoG with the texture, then it would mess with Alaya's pruning system (if not its entire existence), but otherwise, unless the alien god has some sort of stagnation medicine, I don't see how that's supposed to work out. Which just feels like it even further solidifies the hints that were bring thrown around that this really couldn't matter less to the Alien God. The textures and all that the crypters are doing seem more like a side effect than the actual goal to him, in that case. What with the whole "I don't think his goal is the same as ours" thing they keep bringing up.

Pepe hinted that the Alien God doesn't seem to care about what's happening to the Earth nor what the Crypters are doing. I'm pretty sure they have a grand scheme in mind other than this.

I wonder if what the Alien God is doing is terraforming Earth to suit his children. The lostbelts and whatever not is just weakening Earth's defenses so he can do his job without problem. While many take note that crypters and servants like to point out there is something odd about Holmes, I wonder if YHVH fed him with knowledge which he has to keep quiet until the right time to handle the issue, following the guess there YHVH dealt with Goetia by telling Solomon to send one of his rings to the future.

It was mostly the facial expressions and the tense music and all that made me think it was supposed to be a reveal, but I guess you're right in that his reply does seem a little like that.

Hardly. Hinako couldn't have cared less about hers, and the others have in some way just chosen to go along with it because they didn't have a choice. It was life as a Crypter, or death. Most people have an inherent want of not wanting to die, so it's not exactly a surprising choice they made. On top of that, Ophelia for example, has been stated to have had "another reason" to accept the pact (which should be obvious if you read like, anything), and like others said, all of them so far except Hinako tried to make the worlds better, they just weren't able to for whatever reason. But regardless, they're still bound to the Alien God by the siriuslight, whatever that actually is.

don't wanna talk politics but all I can say is Sukarno was never a bad leader.

sadly his leadership ended in not a pleasant way.

But this was an India where his legend was erased by Alter Arjuna, so that's probably why the curses didn't kick in. Would be very Nasu-like if it turned out erasing the very memory of his hated rival actually freed said rival from the curses that originally allowed Arjuna to win.

There does seem to be a general regard that Kirsch is going to end up being a predictable character archetype everyone's seen before, but I am interested in what seems to be troubling him all the time and if it has anything to do with the lack of enthusiasm he shows compared to his haughty self in the LB trailer.

Probably because this is not the India he knows and the people there doesn't know about him so Nasu can't pull his lore parallelism card this time around.
