This guy. I love that he's not even controlled by Rasputin anymore; it's actually just Kirei. Though I'm taking this from hearsay.
It'd be hilarious (albeit unlikely? Still can't read Japanese well enough to know, rip) if Rasputin was initially just another of the Crypter's Servants (was he?), but once Rasputin handed control over to Kirei, he goes and does his own thing. Even better if he ends up being a major 3rd party all by himself.
It probably wouldn't make any sense; how would a lone Servant travel between Lostbelts? Not to mention the Japanese text probably contradicted this theory already.
Point being, I just want more Kirei.

Notable Servants: Jeanne and Arturia
He's one of the three independent servants working for the Alien God, he's not contracted to the Crypters.
And yes, it was Rasputin and he just let Kirei take the reins after doing his job on Anastasia because he only cared about Russia.
And you don't need Japanese, the first Lostbelt has (summary) translations already.
I just want to know if he shot at them and if he did, did any of the shots connect with the Shadow Border.
Spoiler:
That's not how RPG's work, but whatever, magic missile.

Being one of the servants working directly under alien god, he was granted the ability to do that. Caenis said that Koyanskaya is able to just warp to any place she wants and do her job without effort while Caenis herself did have to cross the sea to get to Russia. Kirei here also has something of sort and I do remember it being mentioned in the first lostbelt that Koyan and Kirei can travel between the lostbelts.

How do you know that one blow definitely killed gods? Sure the weapon is powerful enough to kill the Norse gods but that doesn't mean it can 1 shot them lol.
Oh neat, thanks! Will take a look.

Ah; makes sense. Didn't know about an alien god figure; seems like the leader of the Crypters and the Alien God will be the "big bads" this time around. Should be interesting! Though hopefully it's more complicated than that, especially with Kirei.

I was catching up on backlog and I came across a new term.
What's the difference between awareness space and observational space. I though both were the same.
E: As an aside, Deathhappens, you were wrong about sets. All sets are subsets of themselves.
E2: Actually hold on, I'm gonna think about it a bit.
Awareness space would be the perception "from within", you call it some way. Humans build their universe out of what they can perceive.
Meanwhile observational space would be the perception "from without", I guess. Like, the Moon Cell and the Alien God can observe the events of multiple timelines on account of their viewpoint being "above" the limits of human awareness.
And archival spaces are simply existence rendered as an accounting of events, with no particular temporal organization. A record.
For the literary analogy, the awareness space is the space within the characters live, the readers perceive these events as a observational space and the book itself is an archival space.
Something like that?

E3: As another aside what's with people and believing what fgog says. Half the time they're lying and half of the remaining half they're simply wrong.

I've forgotten the specifics of that discussion, but I'm pretty sure I was arguing a set couldn't be identical to one of its (non-identical) subsets. I didn't clarify because I'm pretty sure a subset that's identical to its parent set is notarized differently, but I may well be wrong about that, I guess.
