Hey everyone !


So, yesterday someone shared the excerpts Mew translated on reddit, and it resparked (is that a word ? Sounds wrong yet right at the same time) one of my biggest frustration with the state of the Nasuverse english translations : there is a somewhat short Fate novel written by Nasu himself that simply isn't translated, and no one seems to be working on it.

Sure, there is the CD drama, but it only adapts some parts of the novel. I'll not name any, but damn some lesser novels have been translated while this one was left alone.

Instead of whining about it, I could learn Japanese and translate it myself, but it always ends up with me wanting to die 30 minutes in.


So hey, I'm useless, but I still wants to read Garden of Avalon one day. That's why I will donate 150€ (worth 169$ at the time I'm writing this) to anyone who will proprely translate it. I said 100$ on reddit, but after thinking about it, that's just not nearly enough for a novel translation. Not that 170$ is enough either, but it's at least a bit better.

I know no one will translate it for just that, but if anyone was thinking about it but couldn't find the time or the motivation to do so, maybe it will be the push to make it happen ? It's just a shot in the dark, but who knows.

I will donate 50€ on the first chapter being translated and the rest at the end, or something like that ? Unless the first chapter is crazy short, but you get the idea, it's to show proof of good faith since I'm just a lurker here.


Anyway, just throwing the offer out there, I'm not holding my breath, but that would be cool if it happens.
