Seeds of Despair
You are all students of the prestigious Sakura Academy, or rather, the newly rebuilt Sakura Academy. The first was tragically struck by a meteor one year ago. In haste to support the students of this year, a new one was constructed in the forest beside it. Tragically, this resulted in the destruction of sacred trees important to the community. While there was some protest, what was done was done. Life moved on....or so people think.
Now, as you spend the winter break at the academy with a small selection of other students people have begun to die. A blizzard has cut off all entry, exit, and communication. The only perpetrators could be you or your fellow students. But why would they do such a thing.
Can t-trees take revenge?
...Will you be the one to sow the seeds of despair?

Like most mafia games, there will be roles other than purely Townies (Normal Girls) and Mafia (Girls Possessed by Trees). For the time being this thread can be used for discussion of roles. A basic guide to how mafia works can be found here. Roles are assigned RANDOMLY so do not include them in your profile. If for some reason you REALLY don't want to be a specific role, I suppose you could state so.
Current Role Ideas:
Town:
Sempai: My role, so I have something to RP too :P. She may be a girl, but she's your typical anime oblivious Sempai, and can't vote. Maybe she can be woo'd by lesbian hi-jinks to help sides via RP. Possesses the only key out of the dorms.
Class President: The mayor, you can reveal yourself as Class Press (everyone forgot they voted for you) to count as 3 votes for the rest of the game.
Crazy Bondage Girl: You can tie up 1 person each night, blocking them from performing their duty. However, if its the Yandere, you get stabbed and die.
Healthcare Committee Member: The doctor. You can heal one person each night, protecting them from death if they get attacked.
Newspaper Club Member: You are excellent at sleuthing and are able to note sudden odd behavior. You can investigate 1 person a night, getting a clue as their role.
Onee-san: The concerned older-sister figure who investigates roles.Once per night, you investigate a person, and get told 3 possible roles they could. They are one of the three, but you don't know which.
Shrine Maiden: The Vigilante. You are able to excise evil tree spirits. It unfortunately kills the target.
Sword Girl: You have a genuine katana. You can go defense at night, swording anyone who tries to interact with you.
Tarot Card Girl: You can communicate with people who have died. If you die, you can communicate to one other person from beyond the grave, once.
Vengeful Lesbian Trees:
Mother Oak: The head tree. You decide who dies each night. You cannot be killed by targeted effects at night.
Weeping Willow: You gather people's sorrows, allowing you to investigate 1 person each night to discover their role.
Neutral:
Yandere: The usual serial killer role. You are on no-one's side, and you win by everyone but sempai being dead. If she dies but everyone else is dead too. You still win, keeping a lock of her hair as a precious momento. You can choose to defend sempai instead of kill at night, killing anyone who tries to interact with Sempai that evening.
Trap: You are not a girl, and thus cannot be actually possessed by a tree. Your goal is to live to the end. If someone attempts to kill you at night, they die.
Tentacle Monster: You are on no-ones side. You can give 1 person the T per night (this happens off screen, no need to be afraid). You can instead choose to cause all you have T'd to go insane, effectively killing them. If you try to T sempai or the trap, you die. You cannot be killed at night, except for by the Shrine Maiden.
Ultimate Outdoorswoman: You want to get lynched because you can survive in the cold. If lynched, you sneak back the next night and abduct one of the girls who voted you. Their ability to survive in the cold as well as you is uncertain.
Were-Gelatinous Cube: Once every 2 nights, you can attack 1 person, killing everyone who interacts with that person that night, and going through night immunity.
