I'm probably going to be the only one who chose the 2006 adaptation.

    As you should be.

Damn you Marmadillo. Damn you and your memevoting. I only put Tsukihime there for completions sake. I didn't think any sick bastard would be crazy enough to vote for it.

Part nostalgia, part people die when they are killed I liked the openings and endings better than the ones in Ufotable's (much as I'm a fan of Aimer) and have to give them credit for trying to blend all the routes together cause I think the whole 3 separate route thing is bullshit--at least when making an anime adaptation. If they had handled it better, it would have been a more complete work in my opinion, but eh...

Mainly it was Archer vs Berserker, that ending scene with King Arthur and Bedivere, etc.

I'd have to really watch it again to say more, but those are what pop into my mind right off the bat.

    They were awesome of course.
But as the first of them, like already said, the atmosphere, the soundtrack and the art direction, i was really in awe before it.

Space. It seems to go on and on forever. Then you get to the end, and a monkey starts throwing barrels at you.

I only ever cared for the first opening. I can't even remember the ending themes. Though I do have fond memories of Archer and Berserker, along with the scene with Bedivere.

I can understand that. Although I prefer the fifth and seventh movies, I do think the rooftop scene of Overlooking View is quite possibly the most memorable parts of the whole series.

Shrapnel's grammar and capitilization is far too good to be mAc.

Part of it was probably just the fact that the fight was completely offscreen in the VN. It also brought us the first voiced utterance of EMIYA's engrish.

Now if only we had a version of it animated by Ufotable and composed by Yuki Kaijura. Then all would be good in the world.

Nah. Never read that. Too boring. Plus I don't think I can bear being in Shirou's head unless I'm scrambling his brain matter from the inside out, thereby killing him and then, you know, riding off into the sunset covered in blood and guts.

I just liked how it played out. It was... exciting.

I would direct you to the Heaven's Feel route.

    You're never too old, bruh.

And, yes, Heaven's Feel. I know of it. I'll wait for the movie. Hopefully it's not crap.

I guess it comes down to different tastes and all but I found it the same as every other DEEN fight-mediocre.

I mean the idea was ok but the execution was.....well, less so.
