Black's supreme really. You can get good white/red and anyone who can pull off a premature grey is impressive, but the best of any other color will always lose to the best of black.

I'm the same. My sister was the opposite, very dark brown which got lighter as she grew up. As of now our hair colors almost completely converged into light-ish brown.
Black hair's the best tho.

Don't think I can add a whole lot to this conversation, but I find brown friendly-looking. Black can be gorgeous, but it always seems at least a little stern.
It may or may not be a coincidence that the three most attractive women I've met have been brown-haired.
