I think that's the strap that's holding one of the quivers going over the lower part of the sari to give that impression, I see it now too.

One that thing is a bit odd, is one quiver seems to be held on by a big black stap, the other by a really thin cord.

After looking up some concept art of the original it turns out neither of the quivers are supported by the cord, and I don't really know what the cord is for in that case.
The quivers are held on by not one, but three big black straps, as seen here

I think I'll have to keep it at one for both and adjust the angle, since I don't know how I'd incorporate all three without seriously messing up the fall of the fabric.

Her right arm's shoulder sticks out too much, left arm is a bit too far in and also a bit too thin. As an archer, the upper back muscles should be a bit larger and the shoulders should be a bit thicker? Just my two cents.

For anatomy and lighting to know how to make the shading feel smoother, also, the shading for the creases on the sari and skirt are too soft.

Overall, pretty good for a WIP.

Thanks for the input! I'll try to make some corrections but I probably won't be able to get everything in this phase. I hope it'll help me not make the same mistakes again in the future though.

Quick ugly messy scribble done to calm the nerves - Nobu in a dual rifle pose à la Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels.

Don't know if I'll work on this further. Maybe? First thing I'd do is change the rifles to look more like hers, but eh.

I plan to finish it. Didn't have time or will to draw anything recently and my hands are terribly shaky for some reason so I think I'll stay away from old pieces for a while lest I ruin them completely.

Okay I made a thing.

And spent days looking at it and trying to decide whether I should try to ink it, vector it, or just clean up the sketch and start coloring. And how do I color anyway?



It's supposed to be GO Leonardo posing with a Vespa. Used reference for bike and pose.

I think inking it might be a good idea? I dunno, I'm not an artist - but you could ask around, I'm sure someone here could help you with colouring and inking!
