So here's what it looks like atm. Yay progress!

Not happy with the bow so I'll work on it a bit and then (hopefully) move on to coloring the whole thing.

I think the 'strands' should be thicker and it still looks a bit flat, but I think the proportions are kinda-sorta ok.

Probably something like that too but it kinda stuck with me how he aims through it in op like a fancy ass scope.

Shading will go a long way to fix that I think.

I really like the airbrush effect too. Will probably stick with it until I have enough experience to do hard anime style shading and lighting.

White with a pattern but that's hard so I'm leaving it for last :/

Don't know about anyone else but my sketches are REALLY messy and the lines are anything but smooth. What I do when I'm more or less satisfied with how it looks like in the rough is vector the thing. Might be bad practice to rely on vectoring for smoothness but before I had a tablet that was basically all I could do, so I've gotten used to the crisp look of it.
