You watch about three episodes of that hot new anime everyone's talking about, and you just lose the will to go on?

Have a bunch of classics you know you absolutely should have watched, but didn't and you're now afraid your friends will find out call you a filthy casual?

Or maybe you're a social watcher, and you're sure you could watch a buttload of anime if you had the right company?

Maybe your peasant friends watch anime only for tits, ass and explosions, and you find yourself unable to discuss this new pretentious Ikuhara anime with them?

Or maybe your friends are pretentious and you just want to talk about tits, ass and explosions?

The first step is admitting you have a problem. But you can get help! And you've come to the right place!

For here you will hopefully find others like you, so that we may all achieve together what we couldn't do alone.




So yeah, backlog anime club. To start off and give this some semblance of order, interested people can post their greatest sham- priorities here, and we can cast votes on the order of watching. It would be nice if we could use BL or skype or something else to notify others of our progress and discuss what we're watching, and generally have a good time.



My own greatest shame is definitely the NGE anime. I feel utterly ashamed of this, especially since I watched EoE and really liked it. I doubt there are many people who have this in their backlog too, but there might be some who are willing to rewatch it. Maybe. I'm not really optimistic about this one working.

The second greatest shame is Cowboy Bebop, since at least I watched 6 or so episodes of it before losing focus. As with NGE, I hope that if nothing else, there are people who might want to do a rewatch.

Also I only watched like two epsiodes of Eva, never watched Cowboy Bebop at all, and... actually I pretty much don't watch anime. I've watched Lain a few times though.

Greatest shame for me is probably not reading Vagabond.
I have all volumes dowloaded but I just always find something different to do
2nd greatest would be not watching Mushi Shi

I'm stuck on episode 2 of everything except Owarimonogatari and OPM this season due to a sudden realisation that anime is kinda bad most of the time. It'll wear off eventually, though.
