But now I keep wondering when Nasu will finally get tired of Fate and try something new because I am pretty tired of Fate. Its popularity has been exploding over the past few years so who knows though. It wouldn't be as hard for Nasu to pursue something else while the other TM writers which they actually have now continue various Fate-related things and rehashes.

But then, you know, they'll probably have Nasu read it over for the final approval and then he'll freak out and rewrite it all himself anyway.

I was going to make this post, except I'm not really tired of Fate.

THE MASTER PLAN:

1. Convince Nasu's friends to stop writing Fate and write Tsukihime instead.
3. Have Nasu freak out, take over and rewrite it all.
4. ????
5. PROFIT!

TBH, I thought Narita was at least partially baiting Nasu to return to Tsukihime with FSF.

More seriously, if/when Nasu's clique gets tired of writing Fate, we'll see different stuff.

GO could very well be a "go out with a bang" conclusion for Fate (man, explosion endings are the worst!)

Unlikely. Type moon has money now,they don't want to do eroge or anything like that. Hell, I am pretty sure most employees, nasu included, would prefer if everyone forgot they ever did.

I don't know if it's true, but I remember hearing once that Nasu's porn was fairly industry standard and pretty much the same as most VNs. Apparantly it's actually mirror moon which turned them so awful due to some terrible TL choices.

I can't say I see specific trends apart from the obvious diversification of TM products and authors. As people said, Mahoyo is pretty personal from what I've read. I certainly hope that Nasu continues to create stuff like that, it has more heart. I'm also much more interested in exploring the lore through characters instead of infodumps through in-game descriptions and complementary materials.
