    ZidanReign mentioned this briefly in the Videogame News Thread, but it didn't get any attention, and was immediately buried by discussions of other games, so I decided to make a thread for it, since I want to discuss it, because I loved the first game, and am a huge Ghibli fan. I'm pretty excited. I'll be playing it with Japanese voices though, obviously. I'm still really annoyed that the PAL and US versions of Xenoblade Chronicles X doesn't come with the original Japanese voices...*grumble*...

    Anyway, the game seems to be set a long time into the future from the first game...That kid king with the cat ears must be a part grimalkin, part human descendant of King Tom I guess. I sure hope magic will still be very prevalent in the game, like in the first one...

    No, but the first one was, which was why I was so interested in checking it out, and so I did, and ended up loving the game, which is why I'm now excited about the new one. Anyway, Joe Hisaishi is still making music for the new game, at least.

    How exciting. It looks like there's probably going to be a different cast of characters, and that's disappointing, but with how charming the first one was, I still think that this is going to be great.
