Ajin: Could be a darker UQ Holder or Baccano about immortality's drawbacks. Show will fail if no-one ends up like Kars in Jojo.
Active Raid: Looks like normal Exo-suit action-comedy. Why not?
Boku Date ga Inai Machi: Groundhog day mangaka could be either hilarious, epic, or shit.
Dagashi Kashi: Sounds like it could be fun.
Dimension W: Supernatural Get Shorty? Sure.
Divine Gate: Standard Supernatural Action.
Hai to Gensou no Grimgar: Could be good if they play up the mystery angle.
Mugisen no Phantom World: Monster High School.
Saijaku Muhai no Bahamut: Sounds pretty Generic but again, Lerche.

Utawarumono: Surprise of last season. One of my Favourites.
Gundam Orphans: The show is alright, The OST is epic. Love the Jojo-esque few bars of ED during the last moments of the show.
Ushio to Tora: This show is gold. And has the most 90's Shonen Opening I've seen.
Heavy Object: The closest we're ever getting to a Metal Gear anime.
So that's 8 definitly, and probably grab about half from the Maybe pile, plus some word of mouth shows. So lets call it 15.

I've somewhat burned myself out on anime.

I'm afraid I can't argue with that.
I saw Saekano and there was nothing wrong with it. It was another show that anyone else will say "insert horrible LN adaptation" but was self-aware and had ironic humor. I got a couple of chuckles out of it so my time wasn't wasted. Utaha's rants about the troubles of being an author amused me particularly.
In one of the corners of the anime fandom, a Purist sneezed.
I'm starting to think I've burnt myself out, too.
I consume so much media every quarter of a year. Looking at the low amount this time, either I'm losing interest in anime or my interest is more focused on what I like now.

Monogatari stopped being interesting after Kaiki's day in the spotlight.
Ajin looks cool but I'm pretty sure it's a manga adaptation so why watch it when I can just read the superior original whenever I feel like it.
The Muv Luv thing might be decent but after TE I wouldn't be sure. Might give it a chance after a few episodes are out judging by people's reactions.
Can't watch Macross Delta, haven't finished the original series yet.
There's, uh, apparently something called Sushi Police coming out? Looks dumb but hey I might give it a chance if I'm feeling it since the episodes are supposed to be like 5 minutes each.

Guess that Showa thing is getting a chance because hey it's been a while since Josei and Dullahan said it might not be terrible. Wary about DEEN tho.
Any adaptation, LN or manga, goes straight into the trash. Same with moe shows, harems, edgy shit for pre-teens, and whatever the hell this bloodtype anime is supposed to be.
So yeah I expect to be watching anywhere from zero to one shows this time around. Guess it's the season for watching past things I couldn't get around to.
A lot like Gundams, you don't usually have to watch other Macross titles to enjoy a new one. It just helps to know when they inevitably talk about Minmay or previous wars or Protoculture or such.

I know I don't technically have to, but I'm just the kinda guy that thinks things should be enjoyed in release order where possible.
Though I did make an exception for Plus because it's fucking Plus.
I only hope that Shouwa Genroku features unobtrusive dialogue that we might better appreciate the cuteness of the boys

Macross F definitely, not that sure about DYRL. It's better than the show, but I don't remember it being that self-sufficient.
For a moment, I thought this said "saikano", and I was going to object. But no, good advice.
