Well, not really, but with speed that saberfaces grow with, a non saberface Arthur is a rarity, like Proto. Or so I thought.

Just my two cents, Lancer Artoria seems to not really fit 'Avalon', so this seems to make more sense personally...

She may not look it, but it was confirmed she is Artoria.

At least with regards to Type-Moon lore, Avalon being the sheath of Excalibur, seems a bit out of place for any but the wielder of Excalibur. Both Alter and Lily bug me a little bit, but aesthetically they are similar enough that I didn't mind it too much, but Lancer is too much of a change.Elaborate please.
Yeah, Avalon being the island which Arthur goes to following Camlann in myth, you could make the argument from the other perspective as well. Was just stating my personal opinion, since they keep on adding more versions of Artoria, and the Avalon thread being a catch-all for everything starts to get disorganized. I guess I wouldn't mind being able to say 'here's the thread where I'll find Lancer Artoria pictures', and 'here's the thread where I'll find Heroine X pictures', etc. just for the sake of organization.
