There's a lot assumptions being made about Altera.

It's completely possible she was created during the development of this game, and the so fabled lore bomb waiting to happen in Altera will actually happen here.

I've never understood why people complain about characters being included in something. Complaining about them NOT being included I could see, but it's not like removing a character you dislike would mean that your waifu gets a slot.
And the idea that a character deserves to be in any game or not is just stupidity of the highest order.
