Command seal is like that thing where you get them to bounce a ball on their nose for a fish rite
To elaborate from the twitch chat.
That's fine.
Mew translated 魔力放出 as Power Burst in chaldeum.
I translate 魔力放出 as Magic Burst and 魔力 as magical energy.
The issue with calling 魔力 mana is that Mana has a specific meaning.
They probably called it Prana Burst because that's what everyone knows it as and don't want to reinvent the wheel or give the english fanbase something they're familiar with.
Because every saw what happened to Aksys.
Also I'm pretty sure the woman reading out the questions can't read japanese.
So there's no point posting runes in the chatbox unless you want to get laughed at.
There are also bigger issues than just tiny terms like that.

Yeah, they could have gone with the safe route of sticking with Magical Energy all the way through.
I'm not gonna agonize over it.

I mean they used mages as well instead of magus
but like everyone in the english fanbase who started from Zero or UBW anime forward generally uses mages
because that's what the subs were
Even though it's legitly magus.
honestly it's not something to get up in arms about.
Like how they said they didn't like Moon Crunch because its pure engrish.
They're going to translate it how they like it, what makes sense to them and what they think their consumers will like while staying true to the story as much as possible.
sometimes stuff gets lost. translation is hard.
also these guys aren't hardcore TM lore nerds who have read everything.
I'm pretty sure none of the translators on BL have read everything either. I think Maz is pretty close though.

Also personally, Command Seals > Spells.
As a verb/noun, Spells doesn't make sense and/or is not appropriate. Magical incantations and/or inscribed letters on your body? What. Plus, those aren't letters, those are symbols.
As a verb/noun, Seals isn't appropriate either but it makes sense in context. They're marks on your hand and they're proof of the bond/link that connects/fastens to your Servant.
