I'm having trouble believing that "Fate/ExtellA" is anything other than a horrible mangling of "Fate/EXTRA" by the same people that brought us Altria and Rancer.
We got Rancer in FGO
Maybe it's some kind of wordplay with EXTRA and "Stella (latin/italian for "star"=cosmos for "project cosmos")".
And rather than putting all caps in the title unlike EXTRA, ExtellA only capitalized the first and the last letters only.
Clue: Ea.
