An easy argument is who would burn more than $50 on MTZ and DLC, but that's the way the games are now. If you want a real horror story, think of it this way; today's teenagers that are into gaming think of microtransactions as perfectly normal. Just imagine how it will be in 10 more years. D:

Back on topic though, this game scratches my itch for a Musou game perfectly so I'd never consider the $50 (minus a bit for the coupon Steam threw at me about 2 months before lol) to have been a waste. It sure as hell was a better Musou game than Dynasty Warriors 9 was...

One thing I forgot is that the normal palette of the game is quite blue, to the point that the sudden colour shift around Blood Fort Andromeda hurts my eyes a little.

I'm finding I'm enjoying the story for what it's worth. Sure, other people might have a problem but Charles is now my favourite Saber, and Extella Link is quite interesting anyway.

Complete the first two and Archimedes will show up after the day 1 stage. Listen to what he has to say

You don't even need to replay the stage, you get the option to just watch the ending scene

I'm enjoying the story a lot, compared to Umral Star. I like how campy it feels and servants other than the main two speak a lot, that's great!

I'm on day 3 EP 5 and the translation says Mint Archer, and Strawberry and the joke is that the Archers are like ice-cream flavors
The japanese is actually supposed to be about noddle dishes.

Hmmm... I'm a bit confused about the route stuff. I did the top choice on one of the days, and Astolfo just popped up surprisingly. I imagine that goes different if I chose the second stage choice?

Yeah some things are a bit non-sensical. After seeing how the different scenes go, there's not really much of a 'pick this one' and have a straight-forward, connecting, sensible story. The closest thing I could recommend is to do every choice for every day, top to bottom. That can make some things line up at least, might scratch that itch somewhat.

Like, don't get me wrong: the story's pretty enjoyable atm, it's just the route system seems to be messing with it a tiny bit. That's all.

I'll add: So, for my first run, I went with whatever choices I wanted and ended up with the 2nd ending before the 1st. Was weird to see everyone not react to Karl's identity like they skipped over the whole reveal. Then I saw it was because the reveal is on route 1.

That depends on route. In the first and 2nd they had NP clash and resulted in mutual kill. In the last route Karna was cured from the virus and went to our side so they're fine.

Just finished all 3 routes and I think it was an improvement game wise over the last one. I liked the story, though not as much the last one. I wish it had bit more show then tell, I mean the battle between Arjuna and Karna was great just would have like more scenes like that rather then just read what ever one is doing. I really like playing this one and hope the next comes out soon.

I'll agree with that. There were a couple of instances where the screen cut away to black screen with slash/clash visual effects appearing to simulate surprise attacks, and defending against them. Maybe it's a limitation of what the game could do, but I really would have loved to see more actual clashes from the cutscenes.

That was lazy than limitation. The PSV is very powerful and not even need to mention the PS4. Those scenes feel like FGO fightscenes and it screams lazy tbh.

And that's such a shame too, FSN was amazing at conveying action just through text and screen effects and transitions. Even using old CGs in clever ways.
