lol Hakuno vs Julius is like 100x better than Nero vs Li and it's still not that good. Domus Aurea looks pretty tho. Also Neromonogatari.

This episode was just... baaaad. This isn't how you use Hakunon, if you actually go as far as actively feature her.
Hopefully she comes back, because... wow, that episode was unbelievably underwhelming for all the build up.

Smh at people expecting Hakunon to be anything but a supporting cast member for this series. I figured this was how she was going to be used the moment I saw the end teaser last week with the setting as a classroom with a projector running. Narrating her own backstory at this point accomplishes absolutely nothing, while Nero's builds his understanding of Saber - at least for those few who somehow managed to not be spoiled on Nero until now.

I'm fine with it, felt like it was legitimizing the fHakuno/Nero combi by having them represent the game's version of events.

Also appreciated Hakuno temporarily returning from the dead solely to "um actually" HAKUNO's assumption that Nero has never known hate.

I'll agree this was a rather disappointing episode, but it did give Hakuno some development. He's far more likable when he smiles. Oh, and it turns out I was wrong. Hakuno says the memory with Alice was someone else's. Still doesn't clear up why he calls himself a "fake", but that's what we're being told, at least.

One thing I don't understand is what people were expecting out of Hakunon? Her backstory? What backstory? Her whole backstory is that she fought in a Grail War, she lost, she had no memories and she was a NPC. They've gone over all of that. What else is there? What were you expecting?

I thought that would be a given the moment she appeared in the prologue. I expected much more than what she ended up doing in this episode. I mean, she wasn't the actual Hakuno in Extella/Zero and she still had an actual active role in the story compared to here.

But who knows, they may bring her back and prove me wrong.
