"FZ secondaries" are people who jumped on the Fate train when ufo Zero came out. They tend to treat Zero as the pinnacle of the franchise and Stay Night as the stupid, "kiddy" sequel that wastes its time on dumb teenagers instead of HARDCORE MAGUS KILLER Kiritsugu.
They bitch almost as much as people whining about what looks like Arturia taking over and hogging the limelight of a new Fate series.

Its not a matter of being smug. Its just that the zero secondaries literally know nothing about the series. Heck, they couldn´t even grasp some concepts from zero and seeing them get mad because they either dont know what is going on/aren´t paying attention to the story/dont think its good because its not edgy enough for them is priceless.

Just because I got into Type Moon through Tsukihime and read it before Fate/stay night doesn't make me better than anyone.
MAL is divided between "SHAFT sucks give me ufo" and "SHAFT is good, what are you complaining about". And mods complained about people calling Nero and Tamamo by name because spoilers and even mod-edited some comments because of that but one page after everyone is back to doing it again, lol.
Youtube comments are horrible, news at 11.
The facts are there are fans that were attracted to the franchise via Zero and did get disappointed by UBW and other such works that don't follow Zero's tone and then complain, with various degrees of loudness and/or obnoxiousness. This is not being smug, this is just telling a truth.
Those guys are gonna get disappointed again.

I'm constantly plagued by both the urge to correct anyone who's wrong about TM nerd shit and the knowledge that doing so would just make me really annoying. Reading youtube comments about Fate would be torture so I don't do it.
