In my defense, I had no idea the 13th episode had been out for a while. I thought the season, possibly the series, had ended with the Christmas episode.

Oh, I had been wondering why the anime skipped the nabe chapter, but it didn't, it just used it as its last episode.
Yeah, I said last. Sorry, everyone, but this one gave me the distinct feel of a series finale.
I do have to agree with you there. I hope maybe another season eventually comes out, but... What I miss most is Taiga. She is absolutely adorable in this series.
